Allotment Rubbish

Please note that the waste bin and immediate area adjacent to the Trading Huts is for waste generated during the course of trading only. It is not for waste produced by allotment holders, who should make their own arrangements for safe and appropriate disposal.

Shed Tidy - 13 April, 2019, from 10:00
Plant Sale - 12 May, 2019, 10:30 - 11:30;
Allotment Inspections:
Thursday, 2 May, weather permitting
Week commencing 1 July
Week commencing 7 October
Harvest home dinner - 25 October, 2019 (for OBAGS Volunteers)
Annual General Meeting - 24 November, 2019, 10:30 - 12:00
Mushroom Compost

Following my email to members earlier this year I made a bulk purchase of 75L bags of mushroom compost, based on the quantity pre-ordered. Approximately 20 bags remain after fulfilling these orders and they have been placed into general stock. They may be purchased at £3.40 per bag.

It is a useful soil conditioner, but is not recommended for ericaceous plants or fruit bushes as it contains a high percentage of chalk. More information is available here:
