Self-employed Members’ Advertisements: We have a web page where OBAGS members can advertise their services. If you run a business offering services in which members may be interested, you are invited to take out an advertisement on this site for £2 per year or part thereof. Payment may be made with your annual membership. Apply now to the membership secretary.

Please note that the waste bin and immediate area adjacent to the Trading Huts is for waste generated during the course of trading only. It is not for waste produced by allotment holders, who should make their own arrangements for safe and appropriate disposal.

Following my email to members earlier this year I made a bulk purchase of 75L bags of mushroom compost, based on the quantity pre-ordered. Approximately 20 bags remain after fulfilling these orders and they have been placed into general stock. They may be purchased at £3.40 per bag.

It is a useful soil conditioner, but is not recommended for ericaceous plants or fruit bushes as it contains a high percentage of chalk. More information is available here:
